'Re-arrange'

1. Plant
one or more plants can be merged into any other plant. The Identity of the merged plant(s) will be lost. Plants from the 'Same Group' at 'Same Location' qualify for splitting. At any point of time, one can restore the original setting of split/merged plant(s)

      Rules/Effects
  • Plants from the 'Same Group' at 'Same Location' qualify for splitting. No other association of plants can qualify for splitting. eg.: Birla and Chittor Cement
  • When we are merging Plant 'A' with Plant 'B', entire prod., desp. etc, data related to Plant 'A' will now be shown under plant 'B'. User can also provide new name to the merged entity.
  • If Group/Region/State/Cluster/Sector of Plant 'A' is different from Plant 'B' then Total of Group/Region/State/Cluster/Sector for Plant 'B' will show altered figures.
  • If Plant 'B' contains Plant 'A' then original Plant 'B' can not be merged with any other Plant.

2. Group
One or more Plants from a Group can be shifted to any other Group. At any point of time, one can restore the original settings of 'Groups'

      Rules/Effects

  • When we are shifting some/all plants of Group 'A' to Group 'B', then If Sector of plant(s) of Group 'A' are different from Group 'B' then statement showing 'Sector Total' will show altered figures for Public and Private Sector.
  • If Group 'B' contains plants from any other Group(s), then all original plants of Group 'B' can not be shifted to any other Group.

3. Region
State(s) can be shifted from one Region to any other Region. At any point of time, one can restore the original settings of 'Regions'

      Rules/Effects

  • Region of a State can be altered but Region of a plant can not.

4. State

(A) - Capacity Base: In this option, data of only those states will be altered, which are having cement grinding capacity. Plant(s) of a State can be shifted to any other State. At any point of time, one can restore the original settings of 'States'

      Rules/Effects

  • When we are shifting some (Not All) of the plants of State 'A' to State 'B', then prod., desp. etc, data related to those plants from State 'A' will now be shown under State 'B'. Consumption data of State 'A' and 'State 'B' will remain unchanged.
  • When we are shifting all plants of State 'A' to State 'B', then entire prod., desp. etc, data related to State 'A' will now be shown under State 'B'. Also, the consumption data of State 'A' will be shown under State 'B'.
  • If we restore one or more Plants of State 'A' (which is merged with State 'B') to original, its consumption will also de-merge from the State 'B'. State 'A' and 'State 'B' will show original consumption figures.
  • If we shift one of more Plants of State 'A' (which is merged with State 'B') to any other state, the Consumption of State 'A' will de-merge from State 'B'. State 'A' and 'State 'B' will show original consumption figures.
  • If State 'B' contains plants from any other State(s), then all original plants of State 'B' can not be shifted to any other State.

(B) - Non-capacity Base: In this option, data of those states will be altered which are not having grinding capacity. Also, data of exporting countries can also be changed through this option.
A 'Domestic State' can be merged with any other 'Domestic State'. Likewise, an 'Exporting Country' can be merged with any other 'Exporting Country'. At any point of time, one can restore the original settings of 'States'.

      Rules/Effects

  • 'Domestic State' can not be merged with 'Exporting Country' and vice-versa.
  • When we are merging State 'A' with State 'B', then entire consumption data of State 'A' will be shown under State 'B'

5. Cluster
Plant(s) from one Cluster can be shifted to any other Cluster. At any point of time, one can restore the original settings of 'Clusters'

      Rules/Effects

  • § If Cluster 'B' contains plants from any other Cluster(s), then all original plants of Cluster 'B' can not be shifted to any other Cluster.

6. Sector
Plant(s) can be shifted from Public Sector to Private Sector and Vice-versa. At any point of time, one can restore the original settings of 'Sectors'.

      Rules/Effects

  • If Sector 'B' contains plants from any other Sector(s), then all original plants of Sector 'B' can not be shifted to any other Sector.
